This is something I have dreamed about bringing to life for several years now and I hope you love it too.  Once Upon A Kiwi Kid is all about loving our natural environment and doing right by it. To me, this means quality fabrics, quality designs and these garments being loved by many a children. I want to reduce the impact our clothing industry has on our environment by giving you the opportunity to purchase gorgeous clothing again and again rather than supporting fast fashion and contributing to our growing waste issue.  I am a lover of natural fibres such as merino and organic cotton. They benefit of these fabrics is they break down so when the garments are no longer repairable or useful, your compost bin will benefit.

 It's always a bit of a thrill when I find garments from my eldest daughters childhood - the good old kiwi labels. These have stood the test of time. Not long ago I found one of my own designed and manufactured garments in a local op shop...12 years on!
